The itinerary would have been good if we did what it said we would do. I have been on many bus trips with various companies this was the worse one. I would never use this company again. I have never had to pay for water on the bus. From showing up to the restaurant at the wrong time because the tour guide did allow for time change, to getting to visitors center before it opened, or visiting visitors center while we were leaving the park, skipping all together route 12 drive, which is supposed to be beautiful, getting handouts after we already visited the place, telling us we were doing one jeep ride and substituting another which was found out only after on the jeep. Exiting the bus is usually done rotating sides instead it was every person for themselves and the people in the back were last off for an entire week. Usually a guide will tell you when you are coming up to something to see instead she spent her time talking or on the phone. You get the idea. The best thing I did after several days of putting up with this when we got to Arches I rented a private jeep company and got a real tour and skipped the jeep trip that was provided. Best thing since they didn’t do the jeep trip that was listed in our itinerary.

Thanks for your candid feedback. Unfortunately, none of this is true. We don't offer water complementary as it is wasted and that is not inline with our sustainable business practices. As for exiting the bus, you were informed there is no seat rotation and we exit from front to back. That is not a free for all. Our Tour Directors are not local guides. All this information was in your travel document which you clearly did not read. Further, the jeep ride was exactly what was listed and has been the same ride we have done for years on this tour. No jeep ride is included in Arches NP. Doing so was your decision and your decision alone. You literally drove along Route 12 from Capitol Reef NP to Bryce Canyon City. We wish you the best in your future travels.

I booked this trip but ended up not going. My review is for the company called Tours of Distinction. I canceled the trip on December 2, 2024. My refund finally arrived on March 20, 2025 and this after several phone calls and emails. I don't think it's right to make someone wait 3 1/2 months for a refund. I would not book another trip with them.

You should have received no money back. However, we amended our policies as a gesture of good will. Our refund policy is up to 90 days as in the terms and conditions agreed to you by you. We would never welcome you on any trip in the future. Best of luck on your future travel endeavors!

I have been on other tours but this Tours of Distinction trip was positively not up to my standards. This bus wasn't prepared for winter travel, no sand or ice melt not even a shovel to get us out of deep snow. We spent 1-1/2 hrs trying to get moving on seemingly bald tires spinning on the ice/snow. Add to this we took a different route so an 8 hr trip turned into 12 hrs. The tour director didn't give information regarding that change nor did he give any history along the way, no water offered just a movie . He didn't seem to have a "smart phone" nor a roster with travelers phone #'s or information. Our lunch at the Parliament was a disaster, some were given the wrong meals while others were not even listed for a meal. On another night the bus could not make the hill to the hotel so we were forced to walk on the slippery sidewalks, not easy for this 82 yr old. The local guide was very informative pointing our points of interest but the bus windows were so filthy we couldn't see anything. I would stay away from this company until they get their act together, hire better and charter a more reliable and comfortable bus service.

Thank you for your feedback. However, we would like to address several points in your review to provide clarity and perspective. First, Peter Pan is a highly reputable company that has been in business for many years. The bus you traveled on was brand new. While we understand your frustration, the trip took place during a significant snowstorm—the most severe the region had seen in years. Weather conditions are beyond our control, and some minor inconveniences were unavoidable. This part of Canada had not received this much snow in over a decade. Regarding the tour, a Tour Director’s primary role is to manage logistics and ensure smooth travel from point A to point B. Local expertise is provided by a guide, which you had on this trip and noted as very informative. There was no deviation in the route, and reports of a supposed four-hour detour are inaccurate. However, we did address the issue of the Tour Director’s phone connectivity in Canada to ensure better communication in the future. As for the lunch, there were disruptions caused by individuals who either changed their orders, took meals they hadn’t requested, or consumed alcohol without settling the bill. These unfortunate incidents were beyond our control and contributed to the dissatisfaction. Finally, we’d like to reiterate that we do not own the buses but work with Peter Pan, a trusted and reliable partner. Many other travelers have shared positive experiences, as shown in their reviews. We genuinely value constructive criticism however, we ask that reviews remain fair and fact-based - yours was not.

I would not recommend this winter trip for travelers with mobility issues. There are many stairs and uneven pavement especially in the lower city. Unfortunately there were snow storms which impacted our travel. Bus got stuck many times which caused me to be concerned with the safety of all. That said, the Hilton hotel was perfect. Our guides did a great job. Would have liked an extra free day.

Quebec City is beautiful, loved the ice hotel, our local guide and our accommodations were all wonderful. Great group of people to travel with. The group leader for this trip unfortunately was totally unprepared for the trip. He did not anticipate issues (of which there were many including weather, route changes, restaurant issues) nor did he handle the problems in a professional manner. Tours of Distinction should have ensured the bus they were using and the guide were prepared for the weather we encountered both on the ride up and the ride home. (ie. shovel, sand, snow tires, working cell phone) Sorry to say that having had some wonderful trips with them, I am not sure I would want to travel with them again when there are other choices. Definitely a great destination!

Thanks for your feedback, Lorrie. We are not T&A tours. The region saw an unprecedented snowstorm that cause some hiccups well beyond on your control. No one could have anticipated the unprecedented amount of snow. When there is this much snow, it is important to make necessary changes to the itinerary. However, there were no route changes at all. We are thrilled to year you enjoyed the sights, accommodation and other travelers company. Our guide was prepared for the travel and so was the coach. It was a brand new bus. Best of luck in future travels!

Janet Serra was our tour director on our trip to Mackinac Island featuring Niagara Falls through Tours of Distinction. Janet did an exceptional job and everything went smoothly. I would definitely go on my next trip with Janet as our tour director. Thank you again Janet for all you did to make our trip fun and exciting!
